Christmas Tag Pocket Book

This is a project that I've been wanting to make since it was demonstrated to us at Convention, by Shelli Gardner. I was so excited when I actually worked out how to do it! It's a Pocket Book, with a concertina section in the middle that stores a whole bunch of Christmas tags. The book and tags are made using the Winter Post stamp set, so have a nice vintage feel to them. I've teamed them up with Ski Slope paper, of course, so have chosen my colour scheme based on the DSP colours.

This is one of the projects that we'll be making at my upcoming "Christmas Bags & Tags" class, on November 20th. Please let me know if you'd like to join us!

Upcoming Christmas Card Class...

I'm holding a Christmas card stamp-a-stack at my place next Thursday, 5th November. Yes, that's right - next week it's November already. How are your Christmas cards going?

If you'd like to make 10 cards, 5 of each of these designs, then please come along to the class! The "Winter Post" card features the emboss resist technique, so if you'd like to learn how to do that then this is your opportunity. The square card uses some of my favourite Ski Slope paper, which is only available until the end of November!

Scrapping with Ski Slope

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that the "Ski Slope" Designer Series Paper is my favourite paper that Stampin' Up! has produced. Not just my favourite at the moment, but favourite ever. Really! It's got Baja Breeze in it, which is my current favourite colour, with Chocolate Chip, Real Red and Old Olive. It's got a few stripey designs, and I love stripes. It's got some pages which are all blue with beautiful white swirls or snowflakes. What's not to love?

As a result, this Scrapbook page was a pleasure to create, and looking at it makes me happy!

Supplies Used

Stamps: Winter Post, Gallery

Cardstock: Whisper White Textured, Baja Breeze, Kraft, Ski Slope DSP (Spring Mini Catalogue)

Accessories: Buttons. Lots of buttons. 1" circle punch, paper piercer and gel pen.
