Here's what we made at Stamp Club the other night... a straightforward looking card, using the "Rose is a Rose" stamp set, that can magically stand up by itself!
"Easel" cards like this are deceptively simple. Now that I've discovered that, I think I'll be making them a lot more! They'd be especially good for birthday party invitations, or photo cards... lots of possibilities.
I liked it so much that we each made two!
This month's project class is to make a "Stationery Box", based on the box designed by Jackie Topa. The box I've made includes 4 cards, 4 Love notes, envelopes, Post-it notes, a stamp holder and a note paper holder. It uses the "A Rose is a Rose" stamp set, Bella Rose papers and the Sweet Nothings Simply Scrappin' Kit. If you'd like to make one, the class is on this Thursday at 7:30pm, at my place in Turramurra. Cost is $20, which includes all materials and refreshments.
