Presentation is Everything!

Who doesn't like receiving a gift that's nicely presented? I made these mini purses to hold Gift Vouchers, or Gift cards. There's a couple of people to whom I'll be giving gift cards this Christmas, so I wanted to come up with some more funky packaging for them.

These ones are made from the Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' kit. I love the colour combination used in this kit - it's Real Red, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Wild Wasabi. A bit of traditional Christmas green and red with a coupleof other colours thrown in there to mix it up a bit.

Christmas Projects

Tonight is the first of my Christmas Projects class, which I'm looking forward to! Making 3D items is something I really enjoy doing, so I thought I'd show you a picture of what we're making.

There's a double-pocket bag, a CD gift box (based on Makeesha Byl 's  example), a triangle box and a photo wallet. All the projects use papers and colours based on the Holiday Harmony range of Designer Series papers, which can be found in the Spring Mini Catalogue.It should be a fun class!

So Lovely

I've just realised that the stamped images on this card are all available for free! I made the card using two Level 1 hostess sets; Oh, So Lovely and Party Punch. These sets can't be bought, but can only be earned through having a workshop or class at your place.

I really like the elegance of the "Oh, so Lovely" set. My husband'sfavourite part of any card is the watercolouring, and because this card is for his birthday, I wanted to include a watercoloured image.What do you think - does it work as  a male card, or is it "too girly".
