I can't believe how long it is since I've posted here... Sorry! I have been creating lots of different things, but just not having time to upload them, so I promise to show lots of projects over the next couple of weeks to make up for my recent silence. Apologies over, now on to today's project!
At the Stampin' Up! convention in April (which was fantastic!) one of the presenters talked about making this little box for "Love Notes", which are a 3" x 3" size little card. We made a couple of notes at Convention using the Fun and Fast Notes set, and I thought that making up a set of them would be a nice Hostess gift for some of my hostesses this month.
I made up the box in Groovy Guava, and stamped it with a stamp and wheel from the Spring Solitude Set. All the cards and the box are made with a combination of Soft Sky, Groovy Guava, Rose Red and Chocolate Chip, so it was easy to choose the colours to use for the box. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip wide grosgrain, and the butterfly is from the Garden Whimsy set. It was embossed to give it a bit of shine, then it was punched out with the scallop circle punch - too easy. If you'd like to receive a hostess gift like this from me, as well as free stamps and money to spend from the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue, then just get in touch to organise when you'd like to have your own workshop!
