Now I am not someone who can sew, {one day, when I have the time to learn a new craft!} but I have fallen in love with the gorgeous “Oh Sew Suite” range of products in this Mini Catalogue. The Designer Series Papers were just crying out to be used on a Scrapbooking page, so that’s what I did! And can you see the cute pom-pom trim in Daffodil Delight? I love the texture of that!

Then, the papers needed to be used on a card, and I also had to try my hand with the “Sew Suite” stamps. I thought that this patchwork style top-note die was perfect for a sewing themed card!

But definitely my most favourite part of the range is the Button, Button stamp set and the Sweet Buttons embosslits die. I love any buttons, and now being able to stamp them and punch them out makes them even more useful! There are lots of things to love in this catalogue, and hopefully this has given you some inspiration to create!

I’ve been doing heaps of scrapbooking lately! I was cleaning out a bag and came across this Christmas Wish List that Felicity wrote last year.

So sweet, and definitely worthy of a layout! So I grabbed out the photos of her showing the list to Santa, and using a sketch from Big Picture Scrapbooking, whipped up the layout. I wanted to have the letter hidden on the page somewhere, so I made a mini envelope with my Big Shot scalloped envelope die to place the list in.

 

 

I also used the Big Shot embossing folder to add the textured dots to my patterned paper. And, I was excited to use up some Wild Wasabi cardstock and a Carousel Note that I had – Wasabi is one of the colours that is returning in September, and I’m looking forward to its come-back!

Supplies Used

Stamps: Spotlight on Christmas, Winter Post, Short Order Alphabet

Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Wild Wasabi (currently retired but coming back in September!), Ski Slope DSP.

Accessories: Large & small star punch, Oval punch, scallop oval punch, rhinestone brads, Real Red Ribbon, Big Shot, Circle Scissor Plus.

As well as scrapbooking, I’ve been designing cards for classes. Coming up on July 30^th is my Christmas in July Stamp-A-Stack, and here are the cards that you can make if you come along!

I think that the combination of Rich Razzelberry, Always Artichoke and Baja Breeze is my current favourite for Christmas cards!

 

Supplies Used:

Stamps: Snow Swirled, Heard from the Heart, Autumn Days.

Cardstock: Whisper White, Always Artichoke: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Bella Rose DSP.

Accessories: Circle punch, Razzelberry ribbon, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder; Old Olive ribbon, silver brads, glitter.

More often than not it’s masculine cards, be it little boys or grandfathers everyone seems to struggle with cards for the males in our lives.  So as a team we thought we’d help you out by providing you with 20 team members’ fantastic blogs that you can hop through and get lots of fantastic ideas from.

And so, on to my projects... I really love making projects that co-ordinate. This Tag Pocket Book is based on one that was shown to us last year at Stampin’ Up! Convention by Shelli Gardner, CEO of Stampin’ Up! {She’s very inspiring, and not just in terms of her papercraft skills! For any other Demonstrators reading this, it’s only 1 week ‘til this year’s Convention! Hooray!}

 

It’s a “Pocket Book” that can be used to hold tags inside. The beauty of it is in its simplicity – the tags are held in by the cardstock, which is folded concertina style. A piece of hemp twine is wrapped around the outside to hold it all together. Too easy!

To make the tags, I’ve used the super cute new “Fox & Friends” stamp set. The colours are taken from the Washington Apple Designer Series paper, and I’ve also used images from “Circle Circus” on the backgrounds.

 

 

But wait, there’s more! Because Easel Cards are my new-found thing, I’ve also made an Easel Card for your inspiration. This one uses my go-to boys’ stamp set, “Lots of Bots”, and the “Starring You” set. This is the card from me that you could win if you leave a comment on each Blog in the Hop!
