Being an English teacher in my previous before-I-had-kids life, I love that one of the sheets of the Presto Patterns paper has a script font with excerpts from A Midsummer Night's Dream. I was trying to find some photos of my girls dressed up as fairies to scrapbook with the paper, but came across this picture of Felicity and decided to use it instead. I was following a sketch from a class that I've been taking over at Big Picture Classes.
I sponged the paper with Pretty in Pink and Concord Crush ink to get this effect. It's a bit different from my normal "clean" scrapbooking style, but it was fun playing around and I love the end result.
Also, I wantedto use the Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Bliss" to decorate the page, so I've used that down in the bottom right hand corner. This is definitely my favourite of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets! I'd made a card that was very similar to this a couple of days before, and decided that it would also work on this page. I love how card making and scrapbooking so often go hand in hand.
