There's always so many new techniques to learn with stamping. This is one that I've been wanting to try out for a while now - cracked glass. It's basically a variation of embossing, where you emboss the whole image a few times, then once it's cool "crack" the embossed surface. You can probably see the idea better in the close-up picture.
This was my first attempt at it. I'm planning a class next month using some advanced embossing techniques, so I'm trying out a few things in preparation. What do you think?
Stamps: Fresh Cuts, Dreams du Jour, Weathered background
Cardstock: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel
Inks: VersaMark, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Always Artichoke, Creamy Caramel.
Accessories: Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, Filigree brads, clear embossing powder, sponge daubers, heat tool.

Hi Beth,
I think this is an excellent first attempt at cracked glass! You have inspired me to try it too. Good luck with your class next month.

This looks fantastic. I love the colours & how you have used these stamp sets together - just right for this technique!
Cheers!
