Bushfire Appeal update

The Bushfire Appeal from Stampin' Up! is meeting with a great response - thank you to everyone who is supporting this cause! So far over $15,000 has been raised to give to the Australian Red Cross.

Don't forget that you can also help out the people who have suffered due to the bushfires by purchasing selected stamp sets from now until the end of March. You can see the list of stamp sets here. Stampin' Up! is donating 50% of the price of each stamp set and I'm then donating my 20% commission as well, so that means 70% of the price goes to the Red Cross.

Some of these sets, such as Bodacious Bouquet, which I've used for the cards pictured, are retiring, so they're only available to purchase while stocks last. 

Also, don't forget that this is the last week of Sale-A-Bration! So, for this week only, if you spend $100 on these Bushfire Appeal sets, then the Red Cross gets $70, you get your stamps, plus an extra set for free - everyone's got to be pleased with that!

Ocean Commotion

Felicity went to an "Under the Sea" party last week, which I thought provided a great excuse to use the "Ocean Commotion" stamp set. I've been making some "interactive" type cards in preparation for my March class, so thought I'd do this card as a waterfall, which means that as you pull the tab down on the bottom, the 4 different images are revealed. Kids love lift the flap books, so I figure they should enjoy flipping the card!

Here's to a Happy Valentine's Day for everyone; a time to cherish and appreciate our loved ones.

Each month the Stampin' Up! team that I'm part of, coordinated by Jayne Mercer, makes cards for Camp Quality. Jayne designed these cards and I tried them out in a few different colour combinations.

It's been hard to think about anything this week apart from the devastating fires in Victoria, and the tragic loss of life that's occurred. My thoughts, tears and prayers are with the families and communities who are effected.
