Finally, I've completed a Kristina Werner Challenge! I've been wanting to participate in one of these for ages (she's up to Challenge No. 21!) but sadly so far haven't completed anything. The way the challenge works is that Kristina posts a Colour Inspiration swatch on her Blog, and to participate you have to complete a project using those colours. Here was her swatch:
So, from my first Colour Inspiration experience I've learned some valuable lessons:
- MDT stand for Mountain Daylight Time - not a time category we have in Australia!
- Trying to do a 12 x 12 scrapbook page before the deadline is a bit ambitious.
- Check that I have 12 x 12 cardstock in any of the selected colours. "I think I'll do turquoise as the background... hmmm... no 12 x 12 card... maybe olive... no... red... no." It had to be white!
- I really should also check the colour blue in my photos before I begin designing my page - I thought Emily was wearing turquoise so the colours would match, but sadly, no!
- Participating in the Colour Challenge is a great way to get a project finished and not have to think about colours for myself - thanks, Kristina!

What a gorgeous page!!! I love everything about it!! Great pictures too! I also love how you used all of the colors and that you got this page done so fast!
